Services/Events/Programs The following on-going programs and services are available in the Central New York area: Dating: Marriage Preparation: An all-day conference for engaged couples is offered on a regular basis by Family Life Education, Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. Engaged Encounter: “A wedding is a day, a marriage is a lifetime”… Engaged Encounter (in the Catholic tradition) offers a unique weekend experience to deepen the relationship of engaged couples. Offers a unique dialogue method to enhance communication and deepen intimacy. (In the Catholic tradition, it is open to couples of any faith). The Third Option: A group program to build better marriages, it is open to all married couples.
